Cherie took square dance lessons along with her husband, Patrick, in 1989, they
danced sporadically until 2009 and have danced continuously since then. They
teach lessons for their local club.
She learned to cue in 2012 when her club cuer wanted to retire and since that
time has shared cueing in her local club. She began choregraphing rounds before
she learned to cue.
Cherie became interested in calling about 10 years ago, when her club caller
wanted some backup, and asked her to try a singing call. Since that time, she has
called guest tips.
She has attended many caller schools over the years
Cherie and Patrick are members of Callerlab, Roundalab, and the Cascade Callers
and Cuers Association.
